I am finally back home after 2 weeks in El Duruy. We are almost done with the first building that will store our hydro and solar and later will be come the storage barn. I have never worked so hard carrying wood from the bottom of sloping mountains and 4x8 sheets of metal roofing and exterior wall material through the steams and hills. We harvested corn and it seems like a never ending supply of it after filling 3 large sacks and only touching a corner. The property is already planted with corn, yuca root, pineapples, beans, sugar cane, and many other native fruits. The water is from a spring and very pure. We ate corn on the cob and tasty chorreadas that are like a tortilla made with tender corn. (Non GMO)
To my surprise when we got there I was told that I have been given the teaching time at the local Assembly of God. They said that they had talked to the pastor and they knew that I was not going to say no. Imagine that! Well I had nothing ready specifically but I had just finish a study of the Fruit of the Ruach (Spirit) in Ancient Paleo Hebrew. I also remembered something that happened 2 years ago that prompted us to pack and go. A Word like none other that said to prophesy against the forest of the south (Ezk 20:46-48) These words of a "fire being kindled in their hearts that it won't be quenched".
After a year driving and living in TX waiting for Abba's direction to see where to go, then the invitation to UK and the cancellation of it after a very traumatic Ectopic pregnancy and not having any direction this day was like a breath of life given to a lump of clay. Kadosh is He! Barak is Elohim! Baruk et YHWH! It was all accomplished and I ask for forgiveness for doubting on His plan. I was in the middle of the Forest of the South, not on my own or seeking it by my own will. I was brought to this place for a reason that we will soon know. HalleluYAH! You have been a tool on the Master's hand to get us here. Toda Raba! We calculate El Duruy to be around 200 inhabitants with towns like La Guaira, Pandora, Talamanca and Bribri are larger and very accessible by motorcycle, horse or 4x4 vehicles. Please Rejoice with us!
A brother from Australia has just donated funds to buy a motorcycle. Amein!
And there is more. One of our TO neighbors had been robbed while we were gone and after seeing the way we have been blessing the neighbors and our testimony with the kids they all got together and got involved finding the burglars and calling the police. Also someone else came to the lady we blessed with a gate and a walkway and fixed her porch and after praying she finally has a safe power installation. YHWH is soo good that even when we can't He sends someone else to finish the job. She was so happy last night when we took bread and some juice to share Messiah with her and deliver an apron made by the Langsford's Sowers of Hope. Wow; just got me that we just Sowed Hope in this community. Wait wait there is more.
After the teaching in the Assembly of God, we spoke with Evangelist looking to become Sabbath keeper Marvin Porras and he invited us to go with him to Nicaragua on October after Sukkot and then went on and say that he spoke to the pastor and he was pleased with my teaching and wanted us to continue to come, Yeah! and also he said that if we agreed to take charge of the VBS in December and do some youth outreach during the year they could send us an invitation by letter that will help us establish temporary residence in the country and not have to go on border runs every 3 months. HalleluYAH!!!! Yah is good! ... All the time!! I even met the drunk I met the first day I drove into the town in the church still seeking to return and life to make sense.
Oh my body is sore, stronger and my spirit is renewed! Please continue to pray. Pray that we finish the house and I have time to translate the Scriptures into Spanish so we can have free bibles for all Central America. Pray for the hearts of the people of El Duruy. It seems like we will be teaching alongside Brad Scott sometime too. Doors wide open! Please read Isaiah 58 today and Praise HIM! for all he has done. Our Creator- Abba YHWH's favor and esteem is all we need.
News From Sabalito Costa Rica
Bendito sea YHWH nuestro Elohim! Like they say here Pura Vida.
We have been knocking on doors and many have opened. I have been sharing truth with Dona Nasilda a 75+ year old lady. We have share and minister to her. We saw her needs and immediately went out to supply them. She is so open to everything that is written on the Scriptures that she is listening to us about the Sabbath and agreeing to what we have to say.
We also went by a house to ask for directions one day we were looking for a gas vendor. Well after we left she heard from us again when one of her sons came home with fringes. We had given Tzitzits to 10-12 children and youth and Dayani her son was one of them. One day a lady came to the house and she wanted to know more about what we believed. Lorena has been approached by many religions and she always prayed for the Father to show her the one true religion. She stayed to 3 hours. She invited our younger son to help in the milk farm and he rides their horse making him feel like family. She invited Tammy to her home and taught her how to make cheese and arepa bread. She is soo hungry that they will meet with us next Shabbat. Please pray!
I met a man some time back on the road. He works farming for some of the more affluent people here in town. He plants their gardens and also has his own farming to supply for their own year. He walked me through a couple of large properties around the town. We have seen the most beautiful scenes and landscape. He lives almost off the grid, with chickens, turkeys, and tilapia. He also supplied us with beans for planting, also gave us vegetables from the gardens he plants. Finally this week he asked me about what I believe. He listened and agreed to the truth I shared with him. Pray that he understands and brings forth much fruit. Please pray for Chango! Shalom!

Help us continue the race to reach Costa Rica with the Truth.
We are moving on to the forest of the south of Costa Rica. As doors of provision open for us to go places of real need both spiritually and physically we are going to move to El Duruy. We have already met a grandmother widow raising her grandson of 15 years old. After looking at the homes in the area we saw much need. The youth also need much guidance and have no idea of instructions for righteousness. We saw many sit not knowing what to do in "boredom". We were told that smoking is what they share in common while in boredom and encouraged even by adults that attend church. Help us lead them to freedom from substances like nicotine, alcohol and the sins of idolatry inherited from their fathers.
Costa Rica is a democratic republic. Under the 1949 constitution, all citizens are guaranteed equality before the law, the right to own property, the right of petition and assembly, freedom of speech and the right of habeas corpus. The constitution also divides the government into independent executive, legislative and judicial branches. The executive branch is composed of the president, two vice presidents and a cabinet.
You are unlikely to encounter any serious diseases in Costa Rica. Sanitary standards are high and the health system is excellent. During the past two wet seasons there have been several outbreaks of the mosquito-borne disease dengue but so far there have been no reported cases of the more serious hemorrhaging dengue. No vaccinations are required to enter Costa Rica as epidemic diseases have been all but eradicated throughout the country. Infectious hepatitis, a serious problem throughout Central America, is reported only rarely in Costa Rica. Several private hospitals in San Jose offer emergency medical services to foreigners are reasonable prices: Clinica Biblica (avenida 14, calles central & 1, tel. 223-6422) also has a 24-hour pharmacy. Costa Rica's Social Security system (the Caja) offers a medical insurance assistance program for foreigners needing emergency medical assistance. The coverage can be bought at travel agencies, language schools or through tour companies.

The first Jews in Costa Rica were probably conversos, who arrived in the 16th and 17th centuries. In the 19th century Sephardic merchants from Curaçao, Jamaica, Panama and the Caribbean followed. They mostly lived in Central Valley and were soon assimilated into the country's general society and eventually gave up Judaism altogether. A third wave of Jewish immigrants came before World War I and especially in the 1930s as Ashkenazi Jews fled a Europe threatened by Nazi Germany. Most of these immigrants came from the Polish town Żelechów. The term Polacos, which was originally a slur referring to these immigrants, has come to mean salesman in colloquial Costa Rican Spanish. The country's first synagogue, the Orthodox Shaarei Zion was built in 1933 in the capital San José (located along 3rd Avenue and 6th Street). Along with a wave of nationalism, there was also some anti-Semitism in Costa Rica in the 1940s, but the co-existence between the Jews and the Catholic majority has only led to few problems. Recently there has been a fourth wave of Jewish immigration consisting primarily of American and Israeli expatriates retiring or doing business in the country. The Jewish community now consists of 2,500 to 3,000 people, most of them living in the capital.[10] The San Jose suburb of Rohrmoser has a distinct Jewish presence. A couple of synagogues are located here, as well as a kosher deli and restaurant. The Plaza Rohrmoser shopping centre has the only kosher Burger King in the country. The Centro Israelita Sionista (Zionist Israeli Center) is a large Orthodox compound where a synagogue, library and museum are located.
